The idea
Let an assistant do the repeat timeline chores on the real project, safely, and keep every change undoable.
What we built
- Reads and writes FCPXML. Timelines, markers, transitions and connected clips, in the format Final Cut exports.
- Edits you can undo. Every write is journaled and can be undone.
- A preview you can trust. Renders the cut with its sound and checks the result against the timeline.
- Back into Final Cut. Pushes the result into the library you pick.
Where it is now
136 GitHub stars and 1,628 PyPI downloads last month (Nov 4, 2026). 7 pull requests from 4 outside developers are merged.
